Carlota Bruna x OUTLIERS

MEET CARLOTA

I am a registered dietitian by profession but I better define myself as an environmental and animal rights activist. Through my social media, I create content about how we can preserve our precious planet: through a sustainable lifestyle and helping NGOs that help endangered animals. One of the causes I am most committed to is the one regarding the preservation of the northern white rhinos, in Ol Pejeta, Kenya.

For several years now, I have traveled the world to show all its wonders (and why we should protect them) and it has become one of my passions. But not only do I show the beautiful part, but also the problems that all the places I have visited share: pollution of the seas, illegal animal trafficking, poaching, plastic in nature... and how we can help to solve it. That is why I always travel responsibly and putting planet in the center of everything.

MEMORABLE TRIPS

My favorite trips without a doubt are those that involve nature and animals. Tanzania, Kenya, Galápagos and Uganda are undoubtedly among the first because of the explosion of landscapes and incredible animal encounters.

I have also enjoyed Egypt, both the land part and the Red Sea, the Azores islands, South Africa, Lofoten Islands or Madeira and Ilhas Desertas in Portugal looking for the Mediterranean monk seals.

But one of the things I love most is discovering my beautiful Catalunya: the Pyrenées, Empordà, Costa Brava, Delta de l’Ebre… and doing some local tourism.
